Entry requirements
GCSE: English Language at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent). You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below. UCAS tariff: 112 UCAS points. A level: 112 UCAS points. T level: Merit BTEC: DMM Access to HE: 112 UCAS points. Scottish Highers: 112 UCAS points. Irish Leaving Certificate: 112 UCAS points. IB: 29 points including 5 or 6 Higher Level. European Baccalaureate: Pass in Diploma with 74% overall.
About this course
BA (Hons) in Journalism, Media and Culture. Core topics include Research Methods. The course is accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC). Students contribute to the student-led broadcast Quays News, supported by guest editors from the BBC and ITV. A final-year Major Journalism Project or Dissertation allows production of an in-depth piece of written, audio or video journalism.
