Entry requirements

GCSE: English language and Mathematics at grade C/grade 4 or above UCAS tariff: 128 UCAS points If you are applying for September 2027, the entry requirements will be 120 UCAS points. A level: 128 points including two full A-levels required as a minimum, to include Grade B in Maths and an E in a Numerate Science (Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Design Technology, Computer Science, Statistics). If you are applying for September 2027, the entry requirements will be 120 UCAS points. BTEC: Grade DDM required from Engineering or Applied Science. Not accepted: Electrical Engineering, Aviation Operations T level: Grade D in one of the following subjects: Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing Maintenance Installation and Repair for Engineering Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control If you are applying for September 2027, the entry requirements will be grade M. Foundation Degree: Degree in a relevant subject (Aeronautical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering), passed with an overall mark of 60 or above. Access to HE: 128 UCAS Tariff points from a QAA approved Engineering or Science subject. Other subjects considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are applying for September 2027, the entry requirements will be 120 UCAS points.

About this course

MEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering, combining aircraft engineering with pilot-informed understanding of flight operations. Core topics include Control Systems, Systems Design, Computer Architecture, Data Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, and Laboratory Techniques. The four-year programme includes a final-year integrated master's focused on advanced engineering practice including CFD, FEA, and flight testing. The degree is accredited by The Royal Aeronautical Society under Engineering Council licence.
