BSc Occupational Therapy - Extended Route
Entry requirements
GCSE: Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Maths. Equivalents accepted. You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below. UCAS tariff: 120 UCAS Tariff points (points must be awarded in the same sitting). A level: 120 UCAS Tariff points (ABC/BBB) from a minimum of three A-Levels. BTEC: DDM Scottish Highers: 120 UCAS Tariff points Irish Leaving Certificate: 120 UCAS Tariff points from H1-H3 grades (A/B grades in the old system) considered only. IB: Equivalent to 120 UCAS Tariff points. T level: Distinction (Merit Considered).
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy. Core topics include Communication & Writing and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The programme includes multiple supervised practice placements, building from a four-week first-year placement to a 225-hour placement in the final year. Students undertake a final-year project module developing a proposal for an area aligned with their professional interests.
