Entry requirements
GCSE: English Language at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent) is essential. You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below. UCAS tariff: 104 UCAS points. A level: 104 UCAS points. Applicants not taking A2 Media will have to demonstrate commitment to the study of media by other means; specifically, the personal statement should demonstrate sufficient and relevant media-related experience. T level: Merit BTEC: DMM Access to HE: Pass Level 3 QAA approved Access Diploma with 104 UCAS points. Scottish Highers: 104 UCAS points. Irish Leaving Certificate: 104 UCAS points attained through 4 higher grades IB: 30-31 points. European Baccalaureate: Pass in Diploma with 73-78% overall.
About this course
BA (Hons) in Photography. Core topics include Programming, Research Methods, Project Management, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The course is based at Media City, with access to industry-standard broadcast facilities and companies including the BBC and ITV. A year-long Final Major Project in the final year allows students to develop an original media project from proposal to completion.
