BA Theatre and Performance Practice
Entry requirements
GCSE: English Language at grade C/level 4 or above (or equivalent). You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below. UCAS tariff: 104 UCAS points. Performing Arts subjects are preferred. If you have not studied a relevant subject your personal statement will need to show you have appropriate performance / drama / comedy / media experience. About this course
BA (Hons) Musical Theatre (Cabaret) and Performance and design for theatre and screen. Core topics include Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, Communication & Writing, Critical & Analytical Thinking, and Ethics & Professional Practice. In the second year, students take part in 'TaPP Fest', working under the direction of a professional director or theatre maker to produce a piece of performance for a public audience. Final year students collaborate in small groups to generate and manage their own theatre work, publicly performed at the graduate festival Debut.
