Entry requirements
GCSE: English language and mathematics at grade C or 4 or above. Equivalents are accepted. You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below. UCAS tariff: 64 UCAS points. A level: 64 UCAS points. At least one full A level is required. BTEC: MPP T level: Pass (D or E on the core) - Science only accepted subject Scottish Highers: 64 UCAS points from Higher Level. Irish Leaving Certificate: 64 UCAS points from Higher Level. IB: 26 points. Access to HE: 64 UCAS points from a QAA Approved Level 3 Access to HE Diploma.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences, Marine Biology and Zoology, covering wildlife conservation theory and practice in both zoo and wild settings. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Laboratory Techniques, Fieldwork, and Environmental Analysis. The course is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology and includes an optional year abroad at Otterbein University in the USA. Residential field courses and a final-year dissertation develop independent research skills.
