About this course
MPharm in Pharmacy, a pharmacy degree focused on clinical practice and medication science. Core topics include Research Methods, Policy Analysis, Clinical Skills. Students undertake experiential placements across multiple healthcare settings. The first year introduces foundational concepts through The Patient and Society and Science of Pharmacy. The second year examines pathology and therapeutics in Evidence Based Treatment of Diseases 1 and Evidence Based Treatment of Diseases 2. The third year continues with advanced medical topics in Evidence Based Treatment of Diseases 3 and Evidence Based Treatment of Diseases 4. The final year focuses on professional practice and independent study through Improving Quality in Practice and Advanced Pharmaceutical Practice and Preparing for Prescribing.
