About this course
BA (Honours) in English, combining the study of literature and language. Core topics include Research Methods, Communication & Writing, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Human Behaviour, and Global & Comparative Perspective. A final-year independent research project allows focused study of a chosen topic, supervised one-to-one. The course offers an optional study-abroad semester and a sandwich placement year.
