About this course
BSc (Honours) in Mathematics, combining pure and applied mathematical study. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Research Methods, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The course is accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications toward Chartered Mathematician status, and offers an optional sandwich placement year of at least 24 weeks. An individual final-year research project allows specialisation in a chosen area.
