About this course

BSc (Honours) in Nursing (Child), focusing on care for infants, children, young people and their families. Core topics include Research Methods, Ethics & Professional Practice, Human Behaviour, and Global & Comparative Perspective. The programme includes 60 weeks of practice placements across three years, totalling 2,300 hours of clinical experience alongside 2,300 hours of theory. Graduates are eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a children's nurse.
