About this course
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, a software engineering degree centred on the design and construction of modern computing systems and hardware-software integration. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, Signal Processing, and Microelectronics. Students complete a substantial individual project across two phases in the final year, alongside practical laboratory work and an interdisciplinary group project combining software and hardware elements. The first year covers the foundations through High-Level Programming, Low-Level Programming, Digital Computer Systems, and Algorithms and Analysis. The second year introduces more complex engineering concepts via Computer Architecture, Electronics, Systematic Design, and Parallel and Distributed Computing. In the final year, students undertake an individual project and can choose from a wide range of optional modules covering specialised areas such as Advanced Computer Architecture, Computer Vision, Cloud Application Development, Digital IC and Systems Design, and Natural Language Processing.
