A level: Our standard offer is BBC at A-level or equivalent qualification, we also consider grades of comparable value and offer on these taking into account the suitability of the portfolio submission for the intended course. If you are studying a creative, art, design or media subject, you may not be required to submit a portfolio of work. IB: Pass, with 28 points overall with 14 points at Higher Level.

About this course

Bachelor of Science in Creative Computing is a creative computing degree that combines digital media production with technological methods. Core topics include Programming, Design & Creative Practice. Students can undertake an optional year abroad or a year in employment between the second and third years of study. The first year covers foundational principles through Creative Computing I: introduction to programming, Algorithmic Thinking & Methods, Introduction to Digital Culture, and Pervasive Media Exploration. The second year progresses through Creative Computing II: applied programming, Interactivity & Play, Creative Industries, and WSA Year Abroad alongside optional modules such as Collaborate (A), Collaborate (B), and Collaborate (C). The final year centres on advanced research and major practical work via Experimental Practice & Research, Professional Planning (Creative Computing), Prototyping, Presentation & Evaluation, Final Project 1, and Final Project 2.
