A level: AAA. We require at least two A-level subjects that are typically assessed through written coursework and/or examinations. Only one subject with a primarily practical or performance-based focus will be considered as part of the standard offer. About this course

Bachelor of Laws in International Legal Studies, a law degree centred on legal systems and transnational jurisprudence. Core topics include Research Methods, Legal Analysis, and Design & Creative Practice. This four-year programme covers foundational legal subjects in the first two years, followed by a third year spent studying abroad at an international partner institution before returning for final-year studies. The first year introduces fundamental legal concepts through compulsory modules such as Constitutional and Administrative Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, Environment, Sustainability and International Law, and Legal System, Skills and Reasoning. The second year continues with compulsory modules including Equity and Trusts, European Union (EU) Law and UK-EU relationship: Foundations, Land Law, and Tort Law. Optional modules across intermediate and advanced stages allow specialisation in areas such as commercial law, maritime law, criminal justice, family law, and international human rights. Final-year students may also undertake advanced optional studies in specialised areas like Admiralty Law: Maritime Casualties and Claims, Advanced Public International Law, and International Criminal Law.
