About this course
Bachelor of Science in Modern Languages and Business Management (1 language: French, German or Spanish), an undergraduate degree spanning Business Management and French and Francophone Studies and German and Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies. Core topics include Statistics, Research Methods, Project Management, Financial Analysis, Accounting, Human Behaviour, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students spend the third year abroad on a workplace, teaching, or university placement. The first year introduces foundational themes through compulsory modules such as Business in Society, Digital Technologies in Business, Introduction to Accounting and Finance, and Introduction to Management, alongside specific language and cultural studies. The second year examines organisational design and operational strategy via modules including Critical Perspectives on Organisation and Management, Human Resource Management, and Preparation for your Third Year (Abroad). The third year consists of the Residence Abroad Portfolio. The final year supports re-entry and advanced study through Seeing and Being Seen. Period Abroad Re-entry, alongside optional modules covering areas such as Strategic Management, International Business, and Project Management, plus independent research options like the Applied Research Project or the Languages, Cultures and Linguistics Dissertation.
