Entry requirements
Typical qualification requirements: A Level: BBB to include Mathematics and one other Science subject Welsh BACC: Grade B and BB at A Level to include Mathematics and one other Science subject. BTEC: BTEC Extended Diploma Distinction Dinstinction Merit in a relevant Maths, Science or Engineering subject which must include Maths modules. Access to HE: Maths, Science or Engineering Diploma with 60 credits overall to include 45 level 3 credits equating to 18 Distinctions, 24 Merits and 3 Passes Additional requirements include: The University normally requires a minimum 5 GCSEs including Mathematics and English at Grade C or above, or their equivalent but consideration is given to individual circumstances
About this course
MEng in Mechanical Engineering. Core topics include programming, circuit design, control systems, research methods, engineering design, ethics and professional practice, and critical and analytical thinking. The programme features an Integrative MEng Group Project linked with industry, undertaken as part of a team.
