About this course
MA (Honours) in Film Studies, a psychology and history degree exploring moving images across time and cultures. Core topics include Historical Research. The course examines global film cultures through theoretical, historical, and critical approaches to cinema. The first year introduces foundational movements and methods via Global Film History and Historiography and Key Concepts in Film Studies. The second year builds on this with Film Theory and Screen Cultures today: media and methods.
