About this course
MA (Honours) in Geography, a geography degree spanning modern languages and geography. The course is accredited by the Royal Geographical Society. During the first year, students study human, environmental and physical geography perspectives through modules such as Welcome to the Anthropocene: Society, Population, Environment and Worlds of Crisis and Hope. The second year focuses on geographical concepts and environmental issues, featuring modules including Geography: Exploring the discipline 1, Geography: Exploring the discipline 2 and Sustainable Scotland. Later study allows exploration of optional topics such as Geopolitics, Glaciology, Coastal Processes and Urban Analytics: A Toolkit for Sustainable Urban Development.
