About this course
BEng in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering with a focus on marine vehicle design, construction and operation. Core topics include Control Systems, Data Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, Engineering Design, and Programming. The course has dedicated facilities including a towing and wave tank, an engine laboratory, a virtual reality lab and a full-mission ship bridge simulator. International work placements are available.
