Entry requirements
A level: ABB-BBB including Maths or Physics. (Biology or Human Biology is also preferred but not essential) IB: International Baccalaureate (32 including Maths or Physics at Higher level).
About this course
BSc in Biomedical Engineering, with a specialist focus on prosthetics and orthotics. Core topics include Statistics, Research Methods, Clinical Skills, and Communication & Writing. Two mandatory clinical placements — one in prosthetics and one in orthotics, each at least four months — are completed during years three and four. The programme is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council, and includes a supervised final-year research project.
