About this course
BA (Hons) Photography and Visual Media, combining photographic practice with critical and theoretical approaches to visual culture. Core topics include research methods, communication and writing, critical and analytical thinking, ethics and professional practice, and design and creative practice. Students produce a photobook and complete a dissertation alongside a final-year degree project that culminates in a graduate exhibition. Industry placements and visiting practitioners feature in the second year.
