About this course

BA in History, tracing developments from the fall of the Roman Empire to the present day across more than 1,500 years. Core topics include research methods and fieldwork. Compulsory modules provide a structured path through historical periods, while optional modules allow specialisation in themes such as empire and medicine. A heritage field trip and a work placement are available as part of the programme.
