About this course

BSc in Anthropology, an anthropology degree examining the evolutionary, environmental, social, cultural, and material dimensions of human existence. Core topics include Research Methods and Human Behaviour. The curriculum incorporates an individual studies project in the final year. The first year covers the foundations through Introduction to Social Anthropology, Introduction to Biological Anthropology, and Introduction to Material and Visual Culture. The second year builds competence via Being Human and Anthropological Research Methods, alongside options spanning palaeoanthropology, kinship and gender, religion, and human behavioural ecology.
