About this course

BSc in Anthropology with Study Abroad, an anthropology degree examining social, cultural, biological, and material dimensions of human life. Core topics include Research Methods and Human Behaviour. The third year is spent studying abroad at an international partner institution, followed by a final-year independent project. The first year covers core foundations through modules such as Introduction to Social Anthropology, Introduction to Biological Anthropology, and Researching the Social World. The second year continues with compulsory study in Anthropological Research Methods alongside optional choices covering Palaeoanthropology and The Anthropology of Kinship and Gender. The third year consists of overseas study modules at a partner university.
