A level: A*AA (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography or Psychology required plus an additional Science or Social Science required.) IB: 39 points (A total of 19 points in three higher level subjects, to include Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography or Psychology required plus an additional Science or Social Science , with no higher level score below 5.)
About this course
BASc in Arts and Sciences (Health and Environment), a UCL Arts and Sciences degree centred on cross-disciplinary study. Core topics include Data Analysis, Research Methods, Design & Creative Practice, and Social & Cultural Analysis. Students complete a consultancy project in their final year. The first year introduces interdisciplinary foundations through compulsory study in Approaches to Knowledge: Introduction to Interdisciplinarity, Interdisciplinary Research Methods, and Quantitative Methods and Mathematical Thinking, alongside a selection of optional modules. The second year continues with Framing Interdisciplinary Knowledge: Concepts, Contexts, and Enquiry, with options such as Quantitative Methods 2: Data Science and Visualisation and Qualitative Thinking: Research Methods in Cultural Analysis. The third year centres on The Knowledge Economy: Consultancy Project, with options including the BASc Final Year Dissertation and Creative Practice Dissertation.
