IB: 39 points (A total of 19 points in three higher level subjects, to include Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography or Psychology required plus an additional Science or Social Science , with no higher level score below 5.)
About this course
BASc in Arts and Sciences (Health and Environment) with Study Abroad, a UCL Arts and Sciences degree centred on cross-disciplinary study. Core topics include Data Analysis, Research Methods, Design & Creative Practice, and Social & Cultural Analysis. Students spend the third year studying abroad at an international partner institution. The first year establishes core foundations through compulsory modules such as Approaches to Knowledge: Introduction to Interdisciplinarity, Interdisciplinary Research Methods, and Quantitative Methods and Mathematical Thinking, alongside optional choices like Introduction to Anatomy and Development or Documentary Film-Making. The second year continues with Framing Interdisciplinary Knowledge: Concepts, Contexts, and Enquiry, plus optional subjects ranging from Quantitative Methods 2: Data Science and Visualisation to Arabic language levels. The third year consists entirely of the BASc Study Abroad Assessment and BASc Study Abroad Project. The final year involves compulsory work on The Knowledge Economy: Consultancy Project, alongside optional choices like the BASc Final Year Dissertation or Creative Practice Dissertation.
