A level: A*AA (A Social Science is required.) IB: 39 points (A total of 19 points in three higher level subjects, to include a Social Science, with no higher level score below 5.)
About this course
BASc in Arts and Sciences (Societies) with Study Abroad, an arts and sciences degree centred on interdisciplinary academic study. Core topics include Data Analysis, Research Methods, Design & Creative Practice, and Social & Cultural Analysis. Students spend the third year abroad to study or complete a traineeship. The first year covers core foundations through Approaches to Knowledge: Introduction to Interdisciplinarity, Interdisciplinary Research Methods, and Quantitative Methods and Mathematical Thinking. The second year focuses on Framing Interdisciplinary Knowledge: Concepts, Contexts, and Enquiry, alongside various optional choices. The third year includes the compulsory BASc Study Abroad Assessment and BASc Study Abroad Project. The final year features The Knowledge Economy: Consultancy Project, with optional choices such as the BASc Final Year Dissertation and Creative Practice Dissertation.
