A level: AAB (To include two sciences from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology. Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology preferred) IB: 36 points (A total score of 17 points in three higher level subjects to include two subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Psychology, with no higher level score below 5. Biology, Mathematics, Physics or Psychology preferred. If Mathematics is offered at higher level, the programme will accept either ‘Analysis and Approaches’ or ‘Applications and Interpretation.)

About this course

BSc in Audiology, a healthcare science (audiology) degree focused on the clinical study of hearing and balance conditions. Core topics include Clinical Skills, Research Methods, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The programme is fully accredited and includes supervised clinical practice placements across the three academic years. The first year introduces foundational scientific principles and professional practice through modules such as Audiology 1, Science in Audiology, Clinical Practice 1, and Communication skills. The second year builds competence with advanced diagnostic and rehabilitative topics through Audiology 2, Audiology 3, Audiology 4, and Research methods and analysis. The final year focuses on advanced practice and independent inquiry via Audiology 5, Clinical Practice 3, and a compulsory Research Project. Students also undertake Specialist Options and can choose optional modules such as Deafness, Cognition and Language.
