About this course
BA in Communications, a fashion communication degree exploring media production, public audiences, and social change. Core topics include Research Methods and Communication & Writing. Students complete a final-year dissertation project. The first year covers core foundations through Media Production, Understanding Publics, and Social Media, Communicative Practice, and Social Change, with optional modules such as Visual Communication. The second year focuses on analytical methods with compulsory study in Researching Communication: Methods and Methodology and Understanding Public Discourses, alongside optional choices like Marketing and Digital Communication. The final year centres on independent research through the compulsory Dissertation in Communication module. Students can further tailor their studies in later stages by selecting from optional modules spanning AI and Human Communication, Strategic Communication, and Designing communication.
