A level: AAB (A in an essay-based Humanities or Social Science subject required.) IB: 36 points (A total of 17 points in three higher level subjects, to include one essay based Humanities or Social Sciences subject, with no higher level score below 5.)
About this course
BA in Creative Arts and Humanities, a Creative Writing BA (Hons) and Film Studies and Drama degree. Core topics include Research Methods. The course is based at UCL East. The first year covers foundational practice through Writing Practice 1: Storytelling, The Creative Laboratory, Reading the Moving Image: Introduction to Film Studies and Reading Texts: Introduction to Literary Studies. Optional modules in the first year include Documentary Film-Making, Approaches to Knowledge: Introduction to Interdisciplinarity and Interdisciplinary Research Methods. The second year introduces The Collaborative Economy alongside optional subjects such as Developments in Global Cinema, Creative Writing and Interdisciplinary Psychology. The final year centres on the CAH Final Year Project and The Creative Professional, with further options including Advanced Creative Writing, Experimental Cinema and New Media: Form and narrative and Collaborative Writing.
