BA in History and Politics of the Americas, a politics and international relations and english literature, american studies and creative writing degree focusing on historical, political, and social issues. Core topics include Research Methods and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students complete a dissertation option in the final year. The first year covers the foundations through Introduction to History of the Americas, Introduction to Politics of the Americas, and Investigating the Americas I: Topics and Skills, alongside language study options including Spanish, French, and Portuguese. The second year builds competence via Investigating the Americas II: Research Approaches and Skills, with optional study on Protest Politics in the USA from the New Deal to Trump, Politics of the United States: Processes and Institutions, and Gender, Politics and Society of the Americas.
