About this course

MSci in Human Sciences, a human biology degree centred on interdisciplinary approaches to studying our species. Core topics include Programming, Research Methods, and Human Behaviour. This four-year integrated master's programme spans biological anthropology, social sciences, and evolutionary studies. The first year covers foundational concepts through Introduction to Biological Anthropology, Cells to Organisms, and Introduction to Psychology, alongside programming and scientific skills. The second year examines the history of life sciences and offers options in human anatomy and evolutionary studies. The third year centres on the Human Sciences Seminar Project alongside advanced disciplinary modules. The final year concludes with advanced independent research through the Advanced Research Project in Human Sciences, paired with specialised options such as Anthropology of Religion and Art in the Public Sphere.
