Entry requirements

A level: AAA (Science or Social Sciences preferred. Please note the GCSE requirements below if you are not taking A level Mathematics.) IB: 38 points (A total of 18 points in three higher level subjects, with no score below 5. Please also note GCSE requirements. For applicants who have not taken GCSEs, Mathematics required at Standard level grade 6 or above, or Higher Level grade 5 or above. A higher level in a Science or Social Science preferred.)

About this course

BSc in Information Management for Business, a business and management and physics with data science BSc degree focused on combining information technology, management, and commercial strategy. Core topics include Programming, Research Methods, Project Management, Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. This curriculum was developed in collaboration with industry partners and provides options for an additional year abroad or in industry. Throughout the degree, students progress through structured academic stages. The first year establishes core foundations via compulsory modules such as Programming 1, Information Systems, Web Technologies, and Principles of Strategic Management. The second year builds technical and analytical competence through compulsory study in Database Systems A, Programming 2, Business Analytics, and Project Management, alongside optional modules including Law for Managers, International Strategy, and Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice. The final year involves advanced compulsory study in Managerial Decision Making, Innovation Management, Extended Project, and Managing Applications for Artificial Intelligence. Optional modules in the final year allow specialisation in areas such as Foundations of Machine Learning, Graph Databases and Semantic Technologies, Mergers and Valuation, and Entrepreneurial Finance.
