Entry requirements
A level: A*AA (Mathematics with A* required. Science or Social Sciences preferred.) IB: 39 points (A total of 19 points in three higher level subjects, including grade 7 in Mathematics, with no score below 5. The course will accept either ‘Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches’ or ‘Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation’ at higher level. Higher level Science or Social Science subject is preferred.)
About this course
BSc in Management Science, a business and management degree focused on quantitative problem-solving and operational analysis. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Financial Analysis, and Human Behaviour. Taught by the UCL School of Management, this three-year undergraduate course prepares students for data-driven environments. The first year covers core foundations through The Art and Science of Management, Mathematics I (Calculus and Modelling), Data Analytics I (Statistics and Data Mining), and Business Economics I. The second year introduces Strategy by Design, Data Analytics II (Machine Learning and Forecasting), Computational Thinking, and Finance II (Investment Management), alongside various optional subjects such as Intelligent Systems and Introduction to Programming. The final year involves a compulsory Management Science Dissertation, alongside modules like Marketing Science, Decision Science, Delivering Results Through People, and AI, Ethics and Sustainability.
