About this course
BSc in Mathematics with Management Studies, a mathematics and business and management degree centred on mathematical and computational approaches to mathematical structures and business practices. Core topics include Programming, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Accounting. This three-year undergraduate course combines mathematical training with modules from the school of management. The first year covers the foundations through Analysis 1, Analysis 2, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. The second year builds on this with Analysis 3: Complex Analysis, Algebra 3: Further Linear Algebra, Fourier Methods and Linear PDEs, and Competitive Strategy. Optional modules in later years span advanced mathematics and specialized topics such as Measure Theory, Functional Analysis, Galois Theory, and Biomathematics.
