About this course

MSci in Mathematics with Management Studies, a mathematics and business and management degree centred on mathematical and management principles. Core topics include Programming, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Accounting. The course spans four academic years and includes a major final-year project. The first year establishes core foundations through Analysis 1, Algebra 1, Advanced Calculus, and Accounting for Business. The second year introduces complex analysis, linear partial differential equations, and competitive strategy alongside optional choices such as Curves and Surfaces and Probability and Statistics. Third-year study comprises advanced optional modules spanning specialized mathematical topics including Measure Theory, Functional Analysis, and Biomathematics. The final year centres on the Project in Mathematics alongside advanced optional subjects like Riemannian Geometry, Algebraic Geometry, and Quantitative and Computational Finance.
