Entry requirements

A level: A*AA (Mathematics and at least one of Biology, Chemistry and Physics required. Biology, Chemistry or Physics preferred as third subject.) IB: 39 points (A total of 19 points in three higher level subjects including grade 6 in Mathematics and at least one of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, with no higher level score below 5. For Mathematics, the programme will accept either ‘Analysis and Approaches’ or ‘Applications and Interpretation’ at higher level. Biology, Chemistry and Physics preferred as third subject.)

About this course

MSci in Natural Sciences, a natural sciences degree centred on multi-disciplinary scientific study and research. Core topics include Research Methods. Students can choose to spend an additional year studying abroad in another country. The first year covers a broad foundation through optional modules such as Molecular Cell Biology, Chemical Foundations, and History of Life. The second year focuses on Science Communication. The third year includes the compulsory Natural Sciences Research Project.
