About this course
MEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering, combining aeronautical principles with pilot training. Core topics include Systems Design, Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Engineering Design, and Programming. The programme includes CAA Private Pilot Ground Theory in Year 2 and ATPL theoretical studies in Year 4, with ground theory examinations taken as part of the degree. A final-year group project requires designing and demonstrating an integrated product with structural and systems considerations.
