About this course
MSci in Archaeology. Core topics include Research Methods, Fieldwork, Project Management, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Ethics & Professional Practice. Accredited by the Chartered Institute for Archaeology and University Archaeology UK, the course includes hands-on fieldwork from the first year. Students complete annual placements in the UK or abroad, including a four-week placement on an archaeological research project, and in the fourth year undertake a major independent research project while transitioning to a supervisor role.
