About this course

BA (Hons) in Journalism, Media and Culture. Core topics include research methods, alongside practical training in news reporting, media law, ethics, podcasting and documentary production. The programme is accredited by the National Council for the Training of Journalists, leading to the NCTJ Level 5 Diploma in Journalism alongside the degree. A work placement module is available, and students can choose optional modules in their final year.
