Entry requirements
UCAS 2026 entry (A-Levels) : AAA at A2 with at least two science subjects including Chemistry. All A-Levels must be taken in one sitting. GCSE Requirements : GCSE Maths and English at Grade B or 5. Degree Requirements (Science/Health) : 2:1 or above Honours degree in applied and experimental science, including bioscience, chemistry, physics, and engineering or majority allied health subjects (with exceptions). Degree Requirements (other subjects) : 2:1 or above Honours degree in other areas (e.g. Humanities, Social Sciences) and BBB from A-levels with at least two science subjects including Chemistry. UCAT Requirement : All UK applicants are required to sit the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) . Your UCAT score will be used as part of the selection process prior to interview. Background Checks : A satisfactory Criminal Records declaration (DBS/Disclosure Scotland) and Occupational Health clearance are required for this course. Graduate Entry : We do not currently offer a graduate entry (4-Year MBBS Programme), but graduates who meet the entry requirements above will be considered for the 5-Year MBBS programme. Interviews for Home residency applicants to be held from December 2026.
About this course
An MBBS in Medicine. Core topics include Statistics, Clinical Skills, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The five-year programme is based on campus for the first two years, followed by three years of clinical placements. The curriculum includes the Medical Licensing Assessment and a module focused on transitioning to clinical practice.
