Entry requirements
120 at A2 Biology, Human Biology or Health Subject desirable BTEC Extended Diploma: DDM in Health related subject Pass Access Course: 120 UCAS Tariff points International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 120 points from Higher Level Subjects T Level: M IELTS: 7.0 with no component less than 7.0 taken within two years of the course commencement date GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths, English and Science to be achieved at time of application Applicants are required to attend a selection day when they will be interviewed for the course A satisfactory Criminal records declaration (DBS/Disclosure Scotland) and Occupational Health clearance are required for this course.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Midwifery. The course is NMC accredited and divides time equally between theory and clinical placements across maternity settings. It holds UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative Gold Award status and is available at Preston and Burnley campuses.
