Entry requirements
112-120 at A2 BTEC Extended Diploma: DDM Pass Access Course: 112-120 UCAS points International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 112-120 points from Higher Level Subjects T Level: M IELTS: 6.5 with no component below 6.5 GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English or Functional skills level 2 Applicants are required to be interviewed for the course A satisfactory Criminal records declaration (DBS/Disclosure Scotland) and Occupational Health clearance are required for this course. International Students are required to have IELTs 6.5 with 6.5 in each component taken within 2 years of the course start date and no equivalencies will be accepted.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Nursing (Child), preparing students to care for children, young people and their families. Core topics include Clinical Skills and Global & Comparative Perspective. The programme integrates simulated and clinical placements across three years, with theory and practice hours required for professional registration. It is supported by Comensus, a service user and carer group contributing to health education.
