Entry requirements

UCAS tariff points You will need one of the following: 96 UCAS points (standard offer), or 64 UCAS points (contextual offer) Read more about contextual offer eligibility. Points must come from a Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator. Accepted qualifications We accept: A Levels in at least two subjects. Must have a relevant subject such as Sociology, Psychology, Health and Social Care, Media Studies, History, Anthropology. BTEC Extended Diploma – MMM (standard) / MPP (contextual) in a relevant subject BTEC Diploma – DD (standard) / MM (contextual) in a relevant subject Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject T Levels in a relevant subject International Baccalaureate – 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level We also welcome applications from students who are taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Additional requirements You will also need: GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics International qualifications We accept a wide range of European and international qualifications in addition to A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications. About this course

BA (Hons) Applied Education with Early Years (Online) covers childhood development through educational practice and critical inquiry. Core topics include Research Methods, Communication & Writing, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Entrepreneurship, and Global & Comparative Perspective. The course includes an Independent Research Project completed in collaboration with an external organisation, and a Montessori Educational Setting practice module exploring literacy-rich learning environments.
