Entry requirements

UCAS tariff points You will need one of the following: 112 UCAS points (standard offer), or 96 UCAS points (contextual offer) Read more about contextual offer eligibility. Points must come from a Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator. Accepted qualifications We accept: A Levels in at least two subjects BTEC Extended Diploma – DMM (standard) / MMM (contextual) BTEC Diploma – D*D* (standard) / DD (contextual) Access to HE Diploma T Levels International Baccalaureate – 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level Level 3 Extended Diploma for Children and Young People's Workforce (QCF) / Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education We also welcome applications from students who are taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Additional requirements You will also need: GCSE English Language, Maths and Science grade A*-C/9-4 International qualifications We accept a wide range of European and international qualifications in addition to A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications. About this course

BA (Hons) in Education, combining primary teaching with child development. Core topics include Research Methods, Policy Analysis, Entrepreneurship, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The programme leads to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and includes School Based Training across all three years. A Specialist Applied Project in the final year allows research into a chosen area of learning and teaching.
