Entry requirements
UCAS tariff points You will need one of the following: 112 UCAS points (standard offer), or 96 UCAS points (contextual offer) Read more about contextual offer eligibility. Points must come from a Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator. Accepted qualifications We accept: A Levels in at least two subjects including Mathematics, Physics or Electronics BTEC Extended Diploma – DMM (standard) / MMM (contextual) in a relevant subject. Must include distinctions in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics. BTEC Diploma – D*D* (standard) / DD (contextual) in a relevant subject. Must include distinctions in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Access to HE Diploma in a relevant Engineering subject to include at least 30 Level 3 credits at Merit or Distinction and level 3 Mathematics (Calculus, Differentiation and Integration) – all with Grade Merit. International Baccalaureate – 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level and must include Mathematics and Physics at Higher Level. We also welcome applications from students who are taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. About this course
BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Core topics include circuit design, computer architecture, embedded systems, signal processing, microelectronics, and control systems. The programme offers an optional industry placement year for practical experience. Students complete a capstone project in their final year.
