Entry requirements

UCAS tariff points You will need one of the following: 112 UCAS points (standard offer), or 96 UCAS points (contextual offer) Read more about contextual offer eligibility. Points must come from a Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator. Accepted qualifications We accept: A Levels in at least two subjects including Mathematics and Physics BTEC Extended Diploma – DMM (standard) / MMM (contextual) in a relevant subject. Must include distinctions in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics. BTEC Diploma – D*D* (standard) / DD (contextual) in a relevant subject. Must include Distinctions in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject International Baccalaureate – 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level and must include Mathematics and Physics at Higher Level We also welcome applications from students who are taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Additional requirements You will also need: GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics International qualifications We accept a wide range of European and international qualifications in addition to A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications. About this course

BEng (Hons) in Robotics Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering, combining two complementary engineering disciplines. Core topics include Circuit Design, Microelectronics, Control Systems, Programming, Mathematical Modelling, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students complete a Capstone Project in their final year and may progress to MEng level after the second year, working towards Chartered Engineer status.
