Entry requirements

UCAS tariff points You will need one of the following: 112 UCAS points (standard offer), or 96 UCAS points (contextual offer) Read more about contextual offer eligibility. Points must come from a Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator. Accepted qualifications We accept: A Levels in at least two subjects including Mathematics and Physics BTEC Extended Diploma – DMM (standard) / MMM (contextual) in a relevant subject. Must include distinctions in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics. BTEC Diploma – D*D* (standard) / DD (contextual) in a relevant subject. Must include Distinctions in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject International Baccalaureate – 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level and must include Mathematics and Physics at Higher Level We also welcome applications from students who are taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. About this course

BEng (Hons) in Engineering, combining product design with manufacturing processes. Core topics include Microelectronics, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, and Engineering Design. The programme includes an optional industrial sandwich placement and concludes with a capstone project. Facilities feature CAD suites, electronics laboratories, and a 5-axis robot for large-format production.
