Entry requirements

All applicants must demonstrate sufficient professional insight into the breadth of the role of physiotherapists (not just sports injuries) in their personal statement. All applications require a relevant reference with their application. Conditional offers will be made subject to meeting academic entry requirements, and the applicant must attend at least one of the following: An in-person UEL open day/offer holder event An online webinar Face-to-face contact with a profession-specific academic team member from one of the events above Note: The admissions tutor reserves the right to reject an applicant or arrange a formal interview if there are concerns regarding professional suitability encountered during the above events. UCAS tariff points You will need one of the following: 112 UCAS points (standard offer) 96 UCAS points (contextual offer) Read more about contextual offer eligibility. Points must come from a Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator. Accepted qualifications We accept: A Levels in three subjects – Extended Project Qualifications (EPQ) are not recognised BTEC Extended Diploma – DMM (standard) / MMM (contextual) BTEC Diploma – D*D* (standard) / DD (contextual) Access to HE Diploma T Levels International Baccalaureate – 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level Note: There is no advanced standing (i.e. progression into Level 5 Physiotherapy at UEL from any other course of study). Personal training, massage therapy, and beauty therapy courses are not recognised as relevant academic study. We also welcome applications from students taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not listed on the UCAS tariff calculator. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. About this course

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. Core topics include Research Methods, Clinical Skills, and Ethics & Professional Practice. Clinical placements are completed across NHS and private sector settings, meeting the HCPC's required clinical hours. An elective placement offers the option to practise in a different healthcare system. Graduates may apply for HCPC registration and CSP membership.
