Entry requirements
A level: CCC Applicants may satisfy the requirement for the final A level grade in the above grade profiles (C grade) by substituting a combination of alternative qualifications to the same standard as defined by the University.
About this course
BA (Hons) in Education and Music, combining educational theory with musical studies. Core topics include Research Methods, Critical & Analytical Thinking, and Design & Creative Practice. Each semester, students take two Music modules and one Education module, with options including musicology, performance studies, composition, and community music. The programme includes an industrial educational placement where students work within an educational setting, negotiate individual placement goals, and reflect on their professional development.
