About this course
BSc (Hons) in Social Work, with a focus on community youth work. Core topics include critical and analytical thinking, ethics and professional practice, and global and comparative perspectives. Three assessed practice placements are completed across the three-year programme, each a minimum of ten weeks at approximately 25 to 30 hours per week. The degree is endorsed by NSETS and confers professional community youth work status.
